Joey, Duke and I did a little rail fanning around Houston, TX on Saturday. Morning was wonderful, the late afternoon was filled with hail and torrential downpours.

Magnolia, Tx Train Wreck and DT Houston Visit

Train Wreck and a Trip to Downtown Houston, Texas

We decided to take the T-Bird out for a ride and ran across these two locomotives that had run through the middle of a trailer in downtown Magnolia, Tx a week or so earlier. The trailer stuck on the tracks was demolished and there was extensive damage, as you can see, to the engines.

We also met on Friday and took the Green Link bus and the light rail down to Herman Park and guess what?! We rode the train around the park!

Perkins Visit the Monster Jam

We hit the Houston, Tx Monster Jam last night! Not certain who had the most fun - ABSOLUTELY great show ... people standing behind us; well not so much. You know when your wife goes Jersey on someone, it's time to stand up and escort the gentleman to a different section away from your family!!!
