Magnolia, Tx Train Wreck and DT Houston Visit

Train Wreck and a Trip to Downtown Houston, Texas

We decided to take the T-Bird out for a ride and ran across these two locomotives that had run through the middle of a trailer in downtown Magnolia, Tx a week or so earlier.  The trailer stuck on the tracks was demolished and there was extensive damage, as you can see, to the engines.

This is the locomotive that end that drove through the trailer

Some damage, but a tough piece of equipment

You can see how the  trailer sheared off the rear locomotives cab side

Damage to the left side of the front locomotive

We also met on Friday and took the Green Link bus and the light rail down to Herman Park and guess what?!  We rode the train around the park!
